Solid Oak Height Chart - Growth Ruler

Made from start to finish by me Stuart Poole from prime grade knot free solid oak, this unique height chart/ruler will keep a record of your chillds growth making memories that will last a lifetime.
 
I was inspired to make this as I was marking my own kids height on a door frame, but it occured to me that if I ever wanted redecororate or move house i wouldnt be able to take it with us. This growth chart is simply hung on the wall using the concealed fixings provided. If you want to redecorate, are in rented housing or plan to move in the future this is the perfect solution.
 
Also makes a perfect gift for new borns, new house, birthdays, Christmas, Christenings, new bedroom and more.
 
Size:
118cm  high x 15cm wide x 1.8cm thickness
measurements are at 67cm/2 ft 2"  to 185cm/6ft1" so suitable for children approx 6 months upto adulthood.
 
Engraving:
Optional personisation available in the top third section of the chart, in capital or lower case and even a little pic (as shown in images) I have a star,heart, oak leaf, rocket, car and flower as standard but can add something different if required, just get in touch for info. Engraved by laser at approx. 2mm depth.
 
Simply write the text as it should appear on the chart eg:
 
(heart image) Chloe & Ben (star image)

The standard font size I use (as pictured above) enables 20 capitals or 26 lower case letters to fit, this includes any spaces or images. You are able to have more letters but note the text will be reduced in size the more you have.
 
Finish:
Hand sanded to a smooth surface then treated with two coats of protective Osmo translucent hard oil giving a light oak finish perfect to show off the height markings.
 
Marking Height On Chart:
Simply mark the heights with your own permanent marker, fine tip sharpies work best and are available in great colours. If you are going for the personalisation then why not add a image which can be colour coded to your child (see images for example).
