Supplied with 2-5 supports depending on size. My shelves have a section in the mantel rear to accommodate the support bars and washer allowing the shelf to sit nice and snug against the wall. The support bars supplied are suitable for solid walls. note that if you have a hollow plasterboard wall then a strengthening batten or blockwork might need to be added behind the plaster/fire board for strength .Simple & detailed fitting instructions are provided in the box.
