Classic design with corbels, great above open fires, inset stoves or wood burners etc. Suitable for modern building standards and when your mantle needs to be close to the fire source. Fully fireproof

Cast from dense lightweight reinforced cementitious composite material, super tough and very stable, I have designed this item to be extremely resilient to heat, so much so that every component used is A1 fire rated non combustible. 
 
-Finish-
Pure White
Smooth surface finished in a heat resistant semi satin tinted coating. water and stain resistant.

The corbels are seperate and have a steel bracket cast into the interior with a section potruding from the rear for fixing to the wall witha heavy duty wall anchor (supplied) Capable of supporting  over 80kgs each side . The mantel has a section which sits down on a bar and is held securley..The fixings supplied are suitable for solid walls. note that if you have a hollow plasterboard wall then a strengthening batten or blockwork might need to be added behind the plaster/fire board for strength .Simple & detailed fitting instructions are provided in the box.
